SLD Demo
Step 1

Open the SLD Event window and define an event named BufCount5.

Names are assigned to trigger events, for ease of use and recall.

Events can be named using program symbols.

Addresses can be ranged and/or masked. Data can be ranged and/or masked. Here we've used a single address that is the memory location of the bufCount variable, entered a specific data value of 05, and used the mask to watch only the lower 16 bits of the data bus.

Control signals can be used to further qualify the event. Here we've selected only write cycles so that our event will only be true when the data is written to this address.
