Microtek PowerPack family of Pentium III emulators provides a range of
price and performance to meet the needs of everyone on the development
The Pentium III ITP (In-Target-Probe) has an exclusive feature that allows
it to decode the model-specific registers (MSRs). These registers provide
a history of the errors encountered by the processor. You can view this
information and determine the errors causing target failure. The ITP also
includes the features needed to support high-level language development
and processor control.
ITP includes support for the new SIMD (single instruction multiple data)
streaming floating point instructions. The emulator allows you to assemble
these instructions into memory, and provides disassembly support in the
trace to display these instructions.
The SW Plus provides bus level trace and triggering to provide a full-featured
emulator for debugging software development and hardware initialization
The EA emulator includes all the above features, plus an exclusive clock-level
bus capture feature. The EA emulator is the real solution for system integration
and device driver development.
Microtek PowerPack development systems include the powerful SLD (Source-Level
